Finally, a show that actually came out in July but I’m just now getting around to watching: the Veronica Mars revival. I remember watching Veronica Mars when I was in high school and LOVED it, so I was happy to hear that they were going to do a revival and with a lot of the original cast! If you haven’t seen the old Veronica Mars, it isn’t 100% necessary to watch it before the revival, but trust me, you’ll want to watch it at some point. Veronica plays the daughter of a Private Investigator, and essentially works alongside her dad even though she’s only in high school, dedicating her time to learning all about the life of a P.I. Flash forward years later (to this revival series), and now she’s back to the town of Neptune, working with her father at the same place, as an actual P.I. Expect a lot of the same quirkiness from Kirsten Bell as before (she is so perfect for this part) and the lovable Keith Mars. Upon Veronica’s return to Neptune, the city experiences a string of mysterious bombings, and she and her dad are ready to get down to who really is responsible. So there you have it! Mystery, comedy, drama, just about everything you’d want in a show!
