Showtime’s newest series called “On Becoming a God in Central Florida” stars Kirsten Dundst. This show takes place in a small town in Florida in the early 1990s. Dundst plays a minimum wage employee named Krystal, who is looking for a better life. The first two episodes are out now, and they are hilarious--I can’t wait for more! Think—sleezy life coaches in pyramid schemes. The Founders of American Merchandise (FAM) is someone she gets involved with trying to lie and con her way up their ranks of these pyramid schemes. Also, Alexander Skaarsgard ( Eric Northman from True Blood, and a bunch of other stuff), does a great job in the first couple of episodes—it was fun to see him take on this role. I highly recommend this quirky dark comedy!
