Sunday Funday: What to Watch Today

Sundays are great because if you didn’t get to binge most of the weekend like I usually do, this is your chance to do so before Monday rolls around.

My main focus is usually on what Netflix has released that past Friday since they release all of their originals each Friday. The latest release was GLOW. A show about womens “fake” (aka choreographed) wrestling in the 80s. Picture lots of tight spandex and bright colors, plenty of comedy, and lots of drama, it has it all. This season was a little tough for me to get into at first because it’s been so long since the last season so I completely forgot everything that happened. If that’s you, make sure you watch the recap here.

I wouldn’t say it’s one of my favorite shows in the world, but it has some truly great acting and it’s fun to watch.

Tonight on the lineup we have:

90 Day Fiancee: Before the 90 days. I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again, this TLC show is so addicting and good to watch, plus they’re long episodes--about an hour and a half or so. Last season with crazy Larissa and “Coltie” just finished a couple of weeks ago of the “Happily Ever After” series, so now they’ve started the 90 Day cycle all over again with this show. It starts with “Before the 90 days”, then “Happily Ever After?” then “Where Are they Now”. I could be missing some other versions, I honestly can’t keep up because there are so many! This is a brand new season so we'll see new couples but also a few familiar faces too like Darcy from past seasons.

Southern Charm New Orleans: Guilty pleasure but I gotta have my Bravo TV shows sometimes. If it weren’t for (I won’t say the names) couple splitting up and then all the drama to follow, it probably wouldn’t be that good of a show, but there’s plenty of fights and chair throwing this season.

After that, I plan on either finishing GLOW, or continuing to re-binge Mad Men. What an incredible show. And if you loved Joan’s character in Mad Men, you love her acting in Good Girls, so check that out!

Sunday Shows that I would like to get back into:

Succession (HBO)

Fear the Walking Dead (AMC)

Preacher (AMC)

Have you seen any of the above three? Are they worth watching? Let me know in the comments!
